- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces lump crab meat (or imitation crab), chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced (reserve a few for garnish)
- Wonton chips or crackers for serving
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F to prepare for baking your dip.
- Mix Base Ingredients: In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, sugar, and black pepper until smooth and evenly combined.
- Add Cheese and Crab: Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped crab meat, and most of the sliced green onions, reserving some onions for garnish.
- Transfer to Baking Dish: Grease an 8×8-inch or similarly sized oven-safe baking dish and transfer the crab mixture into it, spreading it evenly.
- Bake the Dip: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the top is lightly golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle the reserved green onions on top for freshness, and serve warm alongside wonton chips, tortilla chips, or crackers.
